🌸 Year-Long Recreational Classes

Class Schedule

🌸 3-Year-Old Class (Waiting List)

3:14–4:15 PM

This class will open once we have at least six dancers enrolled.

🌸 Ages 4–6

4:15–5:15 PM

Advanced 6-year-old dancers demonstrating the necessary skills and maturity may be evaluated for placement in the Rec Plus class

Our year-long recreational program is perfect for dancers who want to build a strong technical foundation while enjoying a fun, positive dance experience. Dancers attend class once each week and continue developing their skills throughout the entire dance season.

Classes run from September – Mid May (Showcase date is typically announced before Christmas.)

Classes Include:

• Movement control

• Ballet technique

• Jazz technique

• Ballet choreography

• Jazz choreography

• Basic tumbling (No power tumbling such as back handsprings, aerials, or tucks.)

Every Year-Long Dancer Receives:​

• Parent Show-Off/Dress Rehearsal

• R&M Preston Spring Showcase Performance

Tuition Includes:

• Dance shoes

• Tights

• Two-in-one costume

If a dancer enrolls after costumes have been ordered, tuition will be prorated and any applicable costume costs will be added.

Tuition

• $465 if paid in full

• OR $55/month (September–May) (Costume Included!)

• $40 Registration Fee (Preston Studio Only – New Studio Discount! Regularly $80)

🌸 Rec Plus Program

🌸 Rec Plus (Ages 7–9)

Tuesdays • 5:15–6:15 PM

Highly advanced 9-year-old dancers demonstrating the necessary skills and maturity may be evaluated for placement in the Teen Performance Class.

🌸 Ages 10–12 • 6:15 - 7:15 (Registration List)

This class is currently accepting registrations. Once we reach a minimum of 6 dancers, a class will be added and families will be notified of the schedule.

Rec Plus is designed for dancers who are ready for more than a traditional recreational class. This program bridges the gap between recreational dance and competition by providing additional technique training while maintaining a fun, encouraging atmosphere.

Competition participation is optional for Rec Plus dancers! Dancers who would like the competition experience may participate in 2 regional dance competitions, but dancers are also welcome to participate in Rec Plus without competing.

If your dancer chooses not to compete, fees will be adjusted to our regular recreational class fees, and no competition fees will be charged. This allows dancers to receive the additional training offered in Rec Plus without the added commitment or expense of competition.

• Movement control

• Ballet technique

• Jazz technique

• Lyrical technique

• Jazz choreography

• Lyrical choreography

• Basic tumbling (No power tumbling.)

Fees:

For Dancers Participating in Competition:

• Tuition: $400 paid in full OR $48/month (September–May)

• Registration/Showcase/Music/Choreography Fee: $50 (Preston Studio Only – New Studio Discount Applied!)

• Costume Fee: Approximately $160

  • Includes dance shoes, tights, and 2 costumes

• Competition Fee: Approximately $120–180

  • Includes 2 competitions and 2 dances

• Additional practices (at no extra charge) may be scheduled in February and March.

For Dancers NOT Participating in Competition:
Regular Year-Long Recreational Class fees will apply. Competition fees will not be charged.

🌸 Teen Performance Class

Middle & High School Dancers with Prior Dance Experience  ~ Monday • 6:00–7:45 PM

This class is designed for middle and high school dancers with previous dance experience who are ready for more advanced technique and choreography in a positive, encouraging environment.

Dancers will perform in the R&M Preston Spring Showcase and participate in 2–3 regional dance competitions.

Classes Include:

• Movement control

• Ballet technique

• Jazz technique

• Lyrical technique

• Turns, leaps, and flexibility

• Jazz choreography

• Lyrical choreography

• Basic tumbling (No power tumbling.)

Fees

• Tuition: $480 paid in full OR $55/month (September–May)

• Registration/Showcase/Music/Choreography Fee: $50 (Preston Studio Only – New Studio Discount Applied!)

• Costume Fee: Approximately $150–200

  • Includes dance shoes, tights, and 2 costumes

• Competition Fee: Approximately $150–200

• Additional practices (at no extra charge) may be scheduled in February and March.

Placement is based on previous dance experience. Instructors may recommend a different class if it will provide the best learning experience for the dancer.

🌸 ACRO Tumbling Class ages 6-10 year olds ~  Monday 5:00-6:00

We're also excited to announce that we're planning to offer Acro classes in Preston!

Unlike the tumbling incorporated into our dance classes, Acro is a dedicated class that combines flexibility, strength, balance, limbering, tumbling, and acrobatic skills using proper progressions and safe technique. Acro is a wonderful complement to dance and helps dancers improve body control, confidence, and athletic ability.
