NON-COMPETITION (Recreational)

Dear Parents

Here is more information on our RECREATIONAL RECITAL!

Date - May 2nd

Locations - Mt Logan Middle School (Auditorium)

Start time - 6:30

Charge to get in - NONE!

  • Dancers need to be there at the following times

    • 5:30  - if they are in a 6-8yr old class or older

    • 5:50 - if they are in a 3-5 yr old class

    • 6:10 - if they are in a 2-3 yr old class (the Monday 4:30 class)

  • Please have them there READY in their Black leotard base, Tan Tights, and Tan Shoes with their 2 costumes in a bag!

  • Hair should be done in a HIGH CURLY Ponytail

  • Make-up should be done tastefully - but they do need some make-up! The stage washes out their faces!

  • There will be someone recording the recital - and we will email out a link for you to download about 2 weeks after the recital.

  • Girls are welcome to leave after their dances - but we will have a gift for them at the end of the night.

  • Our 2 & 3-year-olds will dance towards the beginning of the recital and after they have done their 2 dances, please come pick them up and have them sit with you!

We handed out both costumes this week!

PLEASE TRY ON THE COSTUMES THE DAY YOU GET THEM - make sure they fit ok - REMEMBER these are NOT custom made costumes and they usually are made to fit a wide range of sizes (so a small child may fit 4t - 7) - they won’t fit perfectly, but we need to know right away if there is one that is way too small or way too big so I can make adjustments.  ALSO - once you know it fits - PUT YOUR DANCERS NAME ON THE TAG!

Finally - Make sure that you have the costume base rounded up before the day of the recital - Black short-sleeved leo - tan footless tights - tan foot undies (dance shoes).

We are excited to put these girls on a stage and let them do their best - it can be very scary for some of them, so just being willing to perform is a success - and we are always proud of effort!
